Ten years of running ads.
One belief about how it should work.

I started in performance marketing in 2015 — running Google Ads campaigns for small businesses across Ukraine and, eventually, 15+ other countries.

Over those years I managed more than $1 million in ad spend across clinics, ecommerce, B2B SaaS, real estate, and dozens of service businesses. Most of them small. All of them needing the same thing: clients, not clicks.

In 2022, I moved to Vancouver and made a decision: stop running campaigns for everyone, everywhere, and focus on doing one thing very well — helping local service businesses in the Lower Mainland grow with paid acquisition.

Not through agency middlemen, dashboards no one reads, or hidden retainers. Through small base fees, performance-based pricing, and weekly reports a non-marketer can actually understand.

How I got here

Eleven years.
From Kyiv to Vancouver.

2015

First Google Ads campaign

Started running paid search for a local Kyiv print shop. Three weeks in, the owner doubled production. I was hooked.

2016–19

Agency years

Worked at and with several Eastern European agencies. Managed campaigns for fintech, real estate, healthcare and SaaS clients across Europe and the Middle East.

2020

Independent

Stopped freelancing in-name-only at agencies and went fully independent. Started building my own client list — and my own opinions about how this work should be done.

2022

Moved to Vancouver

Relocated to BC. Reset the client list. Made a deliberate choice to work only with local service businesses — businesses I can actually visit and understand.

2024

Performance-fee model

Stopped charging just for time. Introduced a base fee + performance fee model — I earn only when real clients show up. Same model I run today.

Today

Small client list, big focus

Working with a small number of Vancouver businesses at a time. Each one gets me directly — no junior account managers, no escalation tickets.

How I work

Four things I won't compromise on.

01 Shared risk

Small base fee plus a performance fee tied to revenue from new clients. If I don't deliver, I don't earn. Same incentive as yours.

02 You own everything

Your ad account, website, tracking pixels and data — registered to you from day one. If we ever part ways, you walk away with the asset.

03 No black box

Weekly reports in plain English. Cost per client, ROI, what I changed and why. Zero dashboard theatre, zero "industry benchmark" hand-waving.

04 Honest "no"

If the numbers don't support running ads, I'll tell you. I've turned down clients whose unit economics weren't there yet. I'd rather lose a deal than waste your budget.

Hiking the North Shore
Most weekends. Grouse, Cypress, Lynn Canyon are home base.
Skiing Whistler
Season passes since 2023. Still mostly groomers, slowly working up.
Reading non-marketing books
Currently: a lot of behavioural economics and Ukrainian history.
Coffee in Mount Pleasant
Working out of cafés near Main Street most mornings.
